The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has given out a total of N9,235,000 in loans to 245 students studying at Akperan Orshi Polytechnic in Yandev, Benue State. This money is part of NELFUND’s effort to support students and schools with the financial help they need to keep education going.
The announcement was shared on NELFUND’s official X (Twitter) account on Sunday, where the agency restated its goal of reducing financial problems for students and making it easier for more people to access higher education.
According to NELFUND, this loan package is expected to help the students stay in school without any setbacks due to money issues. The management of the polytechnic confirmed that the funds had been received and they appreciated the support.
