Timi Dakolo calls out Royal Air Maroc over missing luggage

Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has openly complained about Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s national airline, for allegedly losing his luggage during a recent trip.

In a video he posted on Instagram that has been getting attention online, Timi explained that his bag went missing after he flew with the airline on June 26, 2025.

He said he traveled from Lagos to Morocco and was heading to Freetown. From his seat in the business class section, he saw his bag and was told it would be placed on the plane. But when he arrived in Freetown, his luggage was nowhere to be found.

Timi said he did everything expected after the incident—he filled out forms, kept calling, sent emails, and even reached out to the Nigerian handling company Nahco—but still didn’t get his bag back. According to him, since it has been several weeks with no results, it now feels like his belongings were stolen. He stressed that the missing bag was not just any ordinary luggage and demanded that the airline return it.

Popular media personality Daddy Freeze also joined in, posting his own video and calling on Royal Air Maroc to take action. He asked the airline and the relevant authorities to look into the matter and help Timi recover his luggage.

Timi’s situation has drawn sympathy from fans and the public, with many urging the airline to fix the problem quickly.
