Nigerian music star Davido has reached another milestone in his career. His 2023 album, Timeless, has officially been awarded a Silver Certification in the United Kingdom.
The album made waves globally and quickly became one of Davido’s biggest successes. It broke several records on streaming platforms like Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube. Fans couldn’t stop listening, and the numbers spoke for themselves.
Chart Data, a popular music tracking platform, confirmed that Timeless sold over 100,000 units in the UK. This qualified the album for the Silver Certification — a major achievement for any artist, especially on an international level.
Apart from breaking streaming records, the album also brought Davido some major recognition. It got him nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ at the Headies Awards. Even more impressive, he received two Grammy nominations — one for ‘Best Global Album’ and another for ‘Best Global Song Performance’.
