Transfer: Details of Arsenal’s deal for Mosquera as player undergoes medical

Arsenal is close to signing Valencia’s young defender, Cristhian Mosquera. New details have come out about the agreement between both clubs. According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal and Valencia have completed all the necessary paperwork for the deal.

The fee is reported to be €15 million with some added bonuses, but the total cost will remain under €20 million. Mosquera has agreed to a long-term contract with the Premier League club.

The 21-year-old centre-back is already in London, where he is scheduled to undergo a medical today. If everything goes well, he will officially become an Arsenal player before the end of the week. In a recent interview with Radio Marca Valencia, Mosquera confirmed that he is leaving Valencia.

He expressed his gratitude, saying that the club had been like home to him. He joined Valencia when he was just 12 years old and is now leaving as a grown man. Mosquera originally came to Valencia from another Spanish club, Hercules, back in 2016.
