Ethan Nwaneri, a rising midfielder at Arsenal, has agreed to a new four-year contract with the Premier League club.
There had been questions about whether Nwaneri would stay at Arsenal, especially since other big clubs like Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund were interested in signing him.
However, the 19-year-old has now made his decision. He has chosen to remain with Arsenal, saying that staying with the club was always his top priority.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the news on X, confirming that Arsenal and Nwaneri have reached a deal in principle.
He also explained that talks had been going well since last weekend, and now both sides have agreed to move forward with the new contract.
Romano added that Nwaneri gave full priority to Arsenal, even though other teams had shown strong interest.
