Preparations have started for the burial of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in his hometown, Daura.
This morning, as family members waited for his body to arrive from London, some men were seen digging a grave inside his Daura compound in Katsina State.
Garba Shehu, who worked closely with Buhari as his media aide, confirmed that the body left London at about 7:48 a.m. (Nigerian time) and should arrive in Nigeria after six or seven hours.
He also said that everything is being put in place for the funeral, including digging the grave where the late President will be buried within his residence in Daura.
