There is a strong presence of security officers at the Daura home of late President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna State, as the area prepares for the arrival of his body.
Buhari’s body is expected to arrive from London at any moment.
On Tuesday morning, July 15, officers from the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigerian Army were seen guarding the entrance of his home, according to a report by DailyTrust.
Police officers and personnel from the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were also spotted in key positions around the house.
A source inside the compound confirmed that workers have already started digging the grave where Buhari will be buried.
When the late President’s body arrives in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu is expected to receive it at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State.
