Transfer: Real Madrid set Rodrygo’s price tag

Real Madrid have reportedly placed a €100 million price tag on Brazilian winger Rodrygo as clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea show interest in signing him.

According to Spanish radio station COPE, shared through Madrid Zone, the club won’t accept any bid lower than €100 million for the player.

Rodrygo is expected to make a final decision about his future after the FIFA Club World Cup ends this Sunday.

The young forward is said to be unhappy with how things are going at Real Madrid. He did not play in the recent match against Paris Saint-Germain, where Madrid suffered a 4-0 loss in the Club World Cup semi-finals.

Manager Xabi Alonso later said the decision to leave Rodrygo out of the game was based on tactics, not personal issues.

Sources close to Rodrygo say he would rather move to Arsenal if he decides to leave the Spanish giants.

However, Real Madrid will only consider selling him if he directly requests a transfer. Even then, they will only let him go for €100 million or more.
