Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has said that his hit track ‘Zazu Zeh’ helped Olamide become more popular on the international stage.
In a video posted online, Portable also said that his music collaboration with British rapper Skepta gave him more recognition among Nigerians.
The singer mentioned that he would like Olamide to work with him again in the future. He asked Olamide to either give him a verse or feature him on an album.
According to Portable, “‘Zazu Zeh’ made Olamide go international, and ‘Tony Montana’ made Skepta popular in the streets. Olamide, I need your verse or put me on your album.”
‘Zazu Zeh’ was released in 2021 and featured both Olamide and Poco Lee. The song made Portable very famous in Nigeria.
However, despite Portable’s claims, the song didn’t really gain much attention outside Nigeria.
