Transfer: Rashford ready to accept 40% pay cut to join Barcelona

Marcus Rashford, who plays for Manchester United, is ready to take a 40% cut in his salary so he can join Barcelona during this summer’s transfer window.

According to a report from The Touchline, Rashford has always dreamed of playing for Barcelona and hopes to make that move happen in the upcoming season.

He has made it clear that he wants a major role in the team if he joins the Spanish club. He doesn’t want to be a bench player but someone who plays regularly.

Rashford is also thinking ahead to the 2026 World Cup. He believes being a key player under Barcelona’s manager, Hansi Flick, will improve his chances of making England’s national team for the tournament.

His chances of moving to Barcelona have increased since the club couldn’t sign their top target, Nico Williams, from Athletic Bilbao this summer.

Rashford spent some time on loan at Aston Villa last season, and many believe he will leave Manchester United before the new season begins.

Last season, Rashford had issues with United’s manager, Ruben Amorim. Because of this fallout, he was removed from the first-team squad and hasn’t played much since.
