Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, has openly mocked the US government for calling his brother’s jailhouse death a suicide. He said he laughed at how ridiculous the conclusion was.
In an interview with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation, Mark expressed frustration, saying that each time officials try to dismiss the possibility of murder, they only make the situation look worse.
He was especially critical of FBI Director Kash Patel, who confidently claimed, “You know a suicide when you see it.” Mark fired back, saying Patel is not a forensic expert and jokingly questioned whether he even had basic first-aid training, like a Boy Scout.
Mark also mentioned that two different medical examiners — Dr. Kristin Roman and Dr. Michael Baden — could not agree that Epstein’s death was a clear suicide. He said their findings leaned more toward a homicide.
He further questioned Patel’s authority to make such strong claims, asking if he was present during the autopsy or even at the prison when Epstein died. Mark said if Patel had been there, it would raise even more serious questions.
Recently, the Department of Justice insisted there was no proof that Epstein was killed in jail. Kash Patel has been repeating this stance, even while speaking to the Senate back in May.
The investigation also found no sign of the rumored “client list” that many believed Epstein had. This is despite previous claims by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who once said she had the list in her possession.
