There’s no clip of David Mark stuffing Dollars in his pocket – Dalung takes a swipe at APC

Solomon Dalung, Nigeria’s former Minister of Youth and Sports, has spoken in support of the new leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He said the people chosen to lead the party’s new opposition group are honest and trustworthy.

During an interview on Channels TV, Dalung, who served under President Muhammadu Buhari, praised the current leadership of the ADC. He said they have a good reputation and have not been linked to any wrongdoing.

Dalung made a strong point by saying there is no video of ADC Chairman David Mark hiding or taking bribes. He said this to show that the ADC is different from other parties whose leaders have faced corruption issues.

He also responded to complaints made by Dumebi Kachikwu, the ADC’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election. Kachikwu had claimed that the party was taken over by force. But Dalung denied this, saying that the new leadership was put in place properly and everything was done in the open.

According to Dalung, Ralph Nwosu, who was the previous chairman of the ADC, officially handed over the party’s leadership to David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola. David Mark is now the interim National Chairman, while Aregbesola is the interim Secretary. Dalung said this handover proves that the party was not hijacked.
