Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is now facing serious legal troubles as he has been officially charged with multiple rape and sexual assault offences.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) revealed that Partey is accused of five rape offences and one sexual assault. These alleged crimes involve three different women.

Reports from Daily Star say that two of the rape charges involve one woman, another three involve a second woman, while the sexual assault charge is linked to a third woman.

Investigations into these accusations began in February 2022 after one of the women reported the case to the police.

Now 32 years old, Partey is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5 to respond to the charges.
