A female student from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), named Becky, has become a hot topic online. She said she had never been in a relationship so she could go on a date with popular media figure Asherkine.

But her claim didn’t go unnoticed. A man came forward, saying he had been dating Becky for the past two years. He said Becky was lying just to meet Asherkine and posted chats to back up his story.

In the chats he shared, Becky allegedly told him she was visiting her mother. But he says that was just an excuse so she could go on the date. Becky also reportedly wrote that she was “just joking” when she said she didn’t have a boyfriend.
