The federal government has delayed the start of recruitment into some paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.
This announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on Wednesday night. The recruitment, which was earlier planned to begin on June 26, 2025, has now been shifted to July 14, 2025.
The CDCFIB explained that the application portal will now open on Monday, July 14. This new date replaces the previously announced June 26 schedule.
They also informed the public that interested applicants can access the portal through the new website: recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The Board reminded everyone that applying is completely free. Applicants should not pay anyone during the process.
They also apologized to Nigerians for any stress or confusion the date change may have caused.
Earlier this week, the Board had announced that recruitment was open for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Correctional Service.
