Nigerians have flooded the Instagram page of ex-BBNaija housemate Sammie, demanding he return money after being accused of scamming someone of N4.5 million.

According to a viral video made by videographer Lucky Udu, a man named Emmanuel Idakoh claims Sammie took N4.450 million from him. Emmanuel said the money was for a slot in the 2025 edition of Big Brother Naija.

Emmanuel explained that Sammie stopped talking to him after the BBNaija audition list was released. He felt used and ignored by someone he once trusted.

In his words, Emmanuel introduced himself as Young Barby. He said Sammie collected millions from him in bits, asking for more money after the first payment. Sammie even encouraged him to take loans when he couldn’t raise the full amount.

At one point, Emmanuel was asked to drop his car as collateral. He said Sammie promised that if the BBNaija deal didn’t go through, the money would be refunded. Emmanuel believed him and continued sending money.

What hurt Emmanuel most was that Sammie, someone he trusted like a brother, was the one who scammed him. He took a loan of N1 million and had to repay N1.5 million. In the end, he had to sell his car just to repay the loan.

As of now, Sammie has not replied to the allegations. He has also ignored messages from reporters trying to hear his side.

Because of this, many angry fans and followers have gone to Sammie’s Instagram page, calling him names and demanding justice.

One person wrote, “Thief, refund his money.” Another said, “How can you scam your own brother?”

Other comments called Sammie names like “419,” “ole,” and said it was heartless to steal from someone who trusted him.

Some warned him that if he didn’t return the money, things could get worse for him online and on the streets.

Someone even asked if Sammie’s silence meant the story was true. Another simply asked, “Did you really scam someone of N4.4 million?”

Fans are still waiting for Sammie to speak up and clear the air.
