Trump claims Iran will halt Uranium enrichment, dismisses claims that Nuclear Program survived strikes

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has said he does not believe Iran will continue enriching uranium after the recent U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities. He also rejected Iran’s claim that it moved important parts of its nuclear program before the attacks.

In an interview, Trump said Iran is more focused on recovering from the damage than continuing its nuclear efforts. According to him, “The last thing they want to do is enrich anything right now. They want to recover.”

He also mocked the idea that Iran would try to restart its nuclear bomb program. Trump said Iran won’t build a bomb or continue enriching uranium after what happened. “Can you imagine after all that they say, ‘Oh, let’s go and do a bomb’? They’re not going to have a bomb and they’re not going to enrich,” he added.

Trump described the airstrikes as a big win, not just for the U.S., but for Iran as well. He explained that Iran still has its country, oil, and smart people, so he believes they can recover and might even work with the U.S. in the future.

Speaking at The Hague, Trump rejected Iran’s statement that enriched uranium had been removed from the Fordow nuclear site before the attack. He said it was unlikely Iran had time to move anything since the strikes were carried out quickly. He added that removing such material is difficult and risky, and if Iran knew the attack was coming, it’s doubtful anyone would still be in the facility.

These comments come shortly after the U.S. launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites. The attacks have caused international concern, with many leaders calling for calm and a peaceful solution.

Iran has strongly criticized the strikes and accused the U.S. of aggression. However, Trump maintains the operation was a success and believes it will force Iran to rethink its nuclear plans.
