Former Italian U-21 striker, Antonio Floro Flores, has shared a strong opinion about Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen. He believes the Super Eagles star is just an average player.

Flores made this statement during an interview with Italian radio station Kiss Kiss Napoli. He said Osimhen should continue his career in Saudi Arabia instead of staying in Europe.

Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 and helped the team win the Serie A title three years later. But last season, the 26-year-old was loaned out to Turkish club Galatasaray.

Despite interest from several top European clubs, Flores criticized Osimhen, saying the striker has shown a lack of respect to Napoli.

Speaking further, Flores said, “He should just go to Saudi Arabia. I’m tired of hearing about him. He only had one good season and that’s it.”

Flores went on to say he doesn’t like Osimhen’s attitude. According to him, Osimhen left the city that helped his career and even removed Napoli-related pictures from his Instagram page.

He added, “If I were his agent, I would take him to Saudi Arabia. He’s not a real champion, and he probably doesn’t even know that.”
