Luka Modric will be moving to a new club after his long time with Real Madrid comes to an end. It has now been confirmed that the Croatian football star will join AC Milan this summer.
Modric is still playing for Real Madrid at the ongoing Club World Cup in the United States. Once the tournament finishes, he is expected to officially sign with AC Milan.
AC Milan’s director, Igli Tare, spoke about the club’s interest in Modric. He said they are bringing him in to help lead the team. Modric also asked questions about how competitive the team is and their chances of winning trophies. Tare said the club is working hard to meet those goals.
Modric leaves Real Madrid after a very successful career. He won many trophies with the club, including six UEFA Champions League titles. He also won the Ballon d’Or in 2018, proving he was one of the best players in the world.
