Tinubu’s government is dominated by Kleptocrats and dependants – Senator Ali Ndume (video

Senator Ali Ndume has shared his honest opinion about President Bola Tinubu’s government. He believes that many people in Tinubu’s cabinet are “kleptocrats,” which means they are corrupt and only interested in using public funds for themselves.

In a fresh interview with Arise TV on Tuesday night, June 24, Ndume said;

‘’You do not form your government with dependants. Worse of it is that the President is a kingmaker and so when a kingmaker becomes a king, then there is a problem which he must identify himself so that he can have people that will stand up to him and tell him the truth. This is now what is lacking in this government.

The government of Tinubu is dominated by ‘khakitocrats’ and kleptocrats.”

Ndume also said the government is filled with people who rely completely on the president for help, support, and decisions. According to him, this kind of behavior is not healthy for the country’s development because leaders should be independent and capable.

He didn’t hold back when talking about presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga either. Ndume reminded the public that Onanuga once called him a “frustrated lone wolf” because of how often he speaks out against the government. But Ndume made it clear that he will continue to speak the truth no matter how unpopular it is.

‘’I do not want to mind Bayo Onanuga. He is a domestic staff to the President. I am a Senator, four times. How dare he calls me that? I am not frustrated? Why will I be frustrated? I contested to be a Senator. I won four times,. Two times in the House of Representatives. Where will the frustration come from? I am a son of nobody who became somebody without knowing anybody. Ask the President, I am not one of his dependents. I am his ally”

Ndume’s comments reflect growing concerns among some Nigerians who believe the current administration is not doing enough to serve the people honestly and effectively.
