Chelsea defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, has said he will soon make a decision on his international football career.
The talented centre-back was born in England but has Nigerian parents. This means he can still choose to play for either Nigeria or England at the senior level.
Adarabioyo has already played 14 times for England in youth teams, but he has not yet played for their senior national team.
In the past, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) contacted him and asked him to consider playing for the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national team.
Now 27 years old, Adarabioyo said he will soon announce his choice. Many people have asked him about it, and he says it’s something he is thinking about seriously.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), he said, “That is a question I have answered quite a bit recently. Yeah, it is something that we are looking into in the future.”
He added that he wants to have more talks about it and will see how things go before making a final decision.
Many Nigerian fans are hoping he chooses to play for the Super Eagles and add strength to the team’s defence.
