Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has openly appreciated his younger brother, Yul Edochie, for playing a big role in his return to acting. Linc took to Instagram to post a touching message, where he gave Yul full credit for encouraging him to come back to the movie industry.
In the emotional post, Linc shared that it was Yul who told him to return to Nollywood back in 2015, after being away for many years. He started the message with the words, “Blood is thicker than water,” showing how strong their brotherly bond is.
Even though Yul gave him the advice in 2015, Linc admitted that procrastination delayed his return. However, in 2020, he finally listened and went back to acting — and he has been active ever since.
Linc also revealed that he learned a lot from Yul. He said that while Yul is professionally trained in theatre, he himself simply had a love for acting. Yul helped him improve and even taught him some of the things he does in movies today.
In his post, Linc didn’t hide his admiration. He described Yul as one of Nigeria’s best actors and filmmakers, despite what others may think. Calling him “Ezedike,” Linc prayed for God to keep blessing him.
The post has sparked many reactions online. Some people were surprised, especially because Yul has been surrounded by public controversies in recent years. But for Linc, family comes first, and his respect for his brother remains strong.
One fan wrote, “Blood is blood,” showing support for the heartfelt message. Another commented that people often forget how talented Yul is because of all the drama around him.
Linc’s post serves as a reminder that behind all the fame and public opinion, family support can be powerful — and sometimes, all it takes is one person to help you find your way back.
