‘It’s a blessing to carry your baby’ – Comedian Woli Arole on surrogacy for healthy women

Nigerian comedian and radio host, Woli Arole, recently shared his thoughts about women who choose surrogacy even though they are healthy and can have children naturally.

In a post on his Instagram page, Arole explained how he feels about this growing trend.

He said that it is a special and divine blessing for a woman to carry her own baby and give birth naturally. He believes this is how God intended it to be.

Arole added that medical options like surrogacy or IVF should only be considered when there are serious health issues that make natural pregnancy difficult or impossible.

He also reminded women to see their bodies as sacred and to treat them with respect as God’s temple.

In his words:
“Please listen – it’s a blessing for a woman to carry her baby in her womb. That’s God’s plan. Don’t let modern ideas confuse you. If you have medical challenges, then yes – surrogacy or IVF makes sense. But you can’t just say, ‘It’s my body, I don’t want to carry a child.’ No, your body is God’s temple.”

Woli Arole’s opinion has sparked conversations online, with many sharing different views about surrogacy, choice, and motherhood. While some agree with his faith-based perspective, others believe every woman has the right to choose what works best for her life and body.
