Nigerian social media activist Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, has posted videos online showing the aftermath of a violent attack in Benue State. The attack, which happened in the town of Yelwata, left many people dead and homes destroyed.

Reports say that about 200 people were killed in the attack. It started late on Friday, June 15, and continued into Saturday morning. The attackers are believed to be Fulani herdsmen who stormed the community during the night.

In the videos shared by VeryDarkMan on Sunday, June 15, several burnt bodies can be seen lying on the ground. Many houses were also shown completely destroyed by fire. The scenes are heartbreaking and have shocked many viewers online.

VeryDarkMan said he shared the videos to draw attention to the suffering of people in rural parts of Nigeria. He often uses his platform to talk about social issues, and this time, he wants people to see the pain and destruction that is happening in Benue and other states facing similar violence.
