Manchester City has brought in four new players just in time for the upcoming Club World Cup. This is good news for the team as they prepare to compete on the world stage.
One of the biggest signings is Tijjani Reijnders, who joined City from AC Milan in a £46 million deal on Wednesday. Reijnders was named the best midfielder in Italy’s Serie A for the 2024-25 season. He will now be available to play for City in the Club World Cup.
The Dutch player comes to City to strengthen their midfield after Kevin De Bruyne left the club. Reijnders is expected to fill the important role De Bruyne once held.
Besides Reijnders, City also signed three other players this summer: Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli, and Rayan Cherki. All four new players will give the team more options as they aim to win more trophies.
Reijnders shared his thoughts on joining City by saying, “Playing under Pep Guardiola, City have won many trophies, and I want to help the team win even more in the future.” He also said, “Playing in the Premier League is a dream come true for me.”
With these new players added, Manchester City is ready to fight for the Club World Cup and continue their success in football.
