Nasboi accuses police officer of asking him to transfer money to betting account

Popular Nigerian comedian and musician, Nasboi, has shared a surprising story involving a police officer. According to him, the officer asked him to transfer money—not to a personal account, but to a Sporty Bet account.

Nasboi is currently going around Nigeria for his nationwide tour and shared this strange experience on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

More than a week ago, Daily Post reported that Nasboi started a 36-day kneeling tour. His goal is to travel to all 36 states in Nigeria, asking for a music verse from popular singer Davido.

While updating his fans, Nasboi explained that a police officer stopped him and demanded money. When he told the officer he didn’t have any cash, the officer then asked him to transfer money to a Sporty Bet account instead.

In disbelief, Nasboi wrote:
“What’s wrong with the Nigerian police? I told you I had no cash, and you asked me to send it to your betting account?”

The post has since caught the attention of many Nigerians online, who are shocked and concerned about the behavior of some officers.
