Nigerian singer Dare Art Alade and his wife, Deola, had a frightening experience when their car suddenly caught fire while they were driving on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the fire, but thankfully, both of them were safe.
They shared the incident on Deola’s Instagram page, explaining that the fire started around 4pm. Although the car burned down completely, they expressed deep gratitude that no one was injured and that their lives were spared.
“It was a shocking and painful experience, but we’re incredibly grateful that the driver made it out safely. No lives were lost, and that’s what truly matters,” the caption read.
In their message, Dare and Deola reflected on the importance of life and safety over material things. They said the event reminded them how quickly things can be lost and how valuable it is just to be alive and unharmed.
The couple made it clear that they were not sharing their story to get sympathy. Instead, they wanted to encourage others who may be going through sudden or painful losses. Their story was meant to offer comfort and remind people that life goes on, even after difficult moments.
“Things can be replaced. Lives cannot… We give thanks in all things. THANK YOU JESUS!!!”
Their experience is a strong reminder to appreciate what truly matters—life, health, and the safety of loved ones.
