“They made y’all believe my wife, Lola, was the problem. Meanwhile it was his wife” Peter Okoye continues calling out his siblings

Peter Okoye has made it clear that people were tricked into thinking his wife, Lola, was the cause of family problems. But according to him, it was actually his brother’s wife who caused the trouble.

Peter has now cut ties with his brothers. He also rejected claims that he ignored the dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan when she said his brothers treated her unfairly in the music business.

On June 4, Peter went on social media to accuse his brothers of hiring people to spread false stories about him and make him look like a liar.

He also pointed out that he is not like singers May D or Cynthia Morgan.

For some background, May D and Cynthia Morgan were once signed to a record label run by Jude Okoye, one of Peter’s brothers. Later, both of them said Jude treated them badly.

After Peter shared his recent posts, many Nigerians criticized him for only speaking up now that the issue affects him, instead of when May D and Cynthia Morgan were the ones complaining.

To prove he supported Cynthia Morgan before, Peter shared some old posts from 2020 where he stood by her.

In later messages, Peter wrote “iDisOwnThem,” which many believe means he is disowning his brothers Jude and Paul Okoye.

Peter also said that Jude’s wife owned 80% of the company that took money from P-Square’s earnings over the years. But the public was made to believe it was Peter’s wife, Lola Omotayo Okoye, who caused the problems.

Peter wrote: “Now many of you are surprised to see my tweet about Cynthia Morgan after so many years. That’s because you were tricked by the story they created. They made you believe my wife was the problem so they could hide their wrong actions.”

He added, “But it was his wife who owned most of the company that took money from P-Square’s earnings for years. If it was my wife Lola, the media would be making headlines about her now. I will keep speaking my truth.”

He ended his posts with hashtags like #UnaThiefAbiUnaNoThief, #FamilyDoesNotStealFromFamily, and #iDisownThem.
