Nigerian rapper and activist Falz recently shared his honest thoughts on how President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has managed the country since taking office.
According to Falz, Nigeria hasn’t made much progress during Tinubu’s time as president. Instead, the country has faced more difficulties and challenges.
Falz’s words reflect concerns many Nigerians have about the government’s work so far. As the president completes two years in office, people are watching closely to see if things will improve in the coming years.
Speaking in a recent interview with Arise TV, Falz said:
“It goes without saying, that more than anything we’ve moved backwards. There is not much progress that has been recorded.”
He also referenced the President’s well-known campaign slogan:
“I think I remember the campaign slogan being ‘Emilokan,’ which translates to ‘it’s my turn.’ And now it just seems like, what were you planning on doing? We are still waiting.”
The rapper, known for his vocal stance on governance and civic issues, concluded:
“It’s remaining two more years. Maybe there is still a plan. But as it stands now, first half, we never see anything.”
