Transfer: It would be a shame – Mikel Obi warns Osimhen on move he shouldn’t make

Former Nigerian captain, Mikel Obi, has shared his thoughts on Victor Osimhen’s possible move this summer. He strongly advised the Super Eagles striker not to join any club in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking about Osimhen’s future, Mikel said it would be sad to see the talented forward leave Europe at this stage in his career. He believes Osimhen still has a lot to give in top European competitions.

Osimhen recently returned to Napoli after a very successful loan season at Galatasaray. The 26-year-old impressed everyone by scoring 37 goals in just 41 matches.

Now, with the new season approaching, many expect him to leave Napoli for good and sign with another big club. There is a lot of interest in where he’ll go next.

In an interview with Metro, Mikel Obi said he hopes Osimhen considers a Premier League club. He thinks England would be the right place for him to continue growing as a player.

Mikel explained that going to Saudi Arabia now would not be the best move. He feels Osimhen still has the quality to compete at the highest level in Europe.

He even suggested some top clubs that might suit Osimhen, such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, or PSG. Mikel ended by saying we’ll have to wait and see where Osimhen ends up.
