Nigerian singer and comedian Nasboi has caught everyone’s attention with a bold and unusual move. He started a 36-day campaign where he plans to kneel in every state across Nigeria just to get the attention of Afrobeats star, Davido, for a music collaboration.

Nasboi shared the news on his Instagram page, saying he would begin his journey in Osun State, which happens to be the home state of both him and Davido. His goal is simple: to kneel in every one of Nigeria’s 36 states to show how serious he is about getting a verse from the music superstar.

On the second day of his mission, Nasboi continued the campaign in Kano State. In each state, he kneels publicly and calls on Davido—whom he fondly calls “001”—to please give him a chance to collaborate on a song.

Nasboi first became popular in 2019 by imitating Davido’s voice and style in short comedy videos he called “Low Budget OBO.” These videos helped him gain fame and opened doors for him as a comedian and actor with characters like Akpan and Ikechukwu.

Although he is known for his comedy, Nasboi has also been working hard in music. He has released songs like “Small Money,” “Short Skirt,” and the hit single “Umbrella” featuring Wande Coal. Now, he’s hoping to take things to the next level by working with one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.

Will Davido respond to Nasboi’s public plea? Fans are watching closely as the 36-day journey continues.
