Chelsea legend John Terry recently shared his opinion about the Premier League title race. He said there are two teams that are stronger than Chelsea right now.

Terry explained that Chelsea still need a couple of years before they can really compete to win the Premier League again.

In an interview on talkSPORT, he said Liverpool and Manchester City are better teams than Chelsea at the moment. Chelsea’s current manager is Enzo Maresca.

“I think we are about two years away from winning the Premier League,” Terry said honestly. “I don’t want this to be headline news, but when I look at Man City and Liverpool, they seem stronger than us right now.”

He also said Arsenal have been steady and consistent this season. He thinks they will buy new players to make their team better.

“That’s why it is very important for us to get into the Champions League next season. It will help us bring in new players with experience,” Terry added.

Chelsea finished 4th in the Premier League at the end of the 2024/25 season.
