The Enugu native doctor accused of kidnapping and ritual killing has been arrested.
High Chief Levi Onyeka Obu, also known as “Ezeani” and “E-Dey-Play-E-Dey-Show,” was caught by the Nigerian Immigration Service while trying to escape the country through a land border.
The suspect became a fugitive after authorities discovered the remains of kidnapped victims, including a pregnant woman, buried in his compound in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area. A 13-year-old girl was also rescued alive from the scene.
Officials confirmed that the suspect was apprehended before he could cross the border.
A widely circulated photo shows the suspect in handcuffs, verifying his capture and ongoing custody by law enforcement.
