DSS Boss Ajayi Builds Islamic School In Kaduna, Named After Bola Tinubu

A new Islamic study centre named after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was opened on Saturday in Danbushiya, Kaduna State. The school, called DARUL ILM, was built and given by Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi, the head of the Department of State Services (DSS), with help from his friends.

Many important people came to the opening, including the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Finance Minister, Wale Edun.

The Sultan spoke to the crowd and said Nigeria has many people and natural resources. Even though the country faces money problems now, he still hopes for a better future.

He praised the project, especially because the school was made for orphans by a non-Muslim who used his own money. He said this was a very powerful message.

Finance Minister Wale Edun also shared positive news. He said the government’s money plans are starting to work. He mentioned growth in the economy, more foreign money saved, lower prices of food and fuel, and stable inflation. Edun believes these changes will bring more jobs and a better economy soon.

Ajayi, who was represented by a retired DSS official, Alhaji Ahmed Zarma, said the school is part of his bigger goal to build trust between the people and the government. He also wants to improve security by encouraging people to talk and work together across different faiths.

Kaduna’s Governor Uba Sani was not at the event, but his deputy, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, spoke for him. She said Ajayi’s plan shows hope and care for education and people.

The most important part of the event was the announcement that the new school will be called “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Centre for Islamic Studies.”
