President Bola Tinubu has said that he believes more politicians will soon join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He shared this view while speaking at the APC national summit held on Thursday.

Tinubu compared the situation to people escaping from a sinking ship without life jackets. This shows that he believes many politicians are leaving their parties because they feel things are not going well for them.

According to Tinubu, “Some people say that a one-party system is not good, but we shouldn’t blame those who are leaving their struggling parties. I’m happy with the support APC is getting, and I believe more people will join us. That’s how progress works.”

His comments came after several politicians recently left their parties to join APC.

There are also reports that Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, may soon join the APC.

It is believed that Governor Eno has asked his commissioners and other officials to join him in the APC or resign if they are not okay with his decision.
