I don’t make music for aesthetics – Singer, Kizz Daniel

Popular Nigerian music star, Kizz Daniel, has given fans a deeper look into why he makes music the way he does.

In a recent post on Instagram, Kizz Daniel made it clear that he doesn’t create songs just to make them sound nice or trendy.

He wrote, “I don’t make music for aesthetics.” According to him, it’s not about how sweet or polished a song sounds, but about whether people can relate to it.

The singer stressed that the real rule he follows is making sure the music speaks to people. Whether it’s a big name producer or someone unknown, like “Segun from Ikorodu,” what matters most is the message behind the music.

Kizz Daniel’s approach shows that for him, music is about emotion and connection—not just style.
