EPL: About five players will leave Arsenal this season – Arteta reveals

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, has shared that about four or five players will leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Speaking after Arsenal’s 1-0 win against Newcastle on Sunday, Arteta said that fans should expect a big summer full of transfer activity.

Some names have already been mentioned. Jorginho is set to move to Flamengo in Brazil, while Kieran Tierney may return to Celtic.

Players who were out on loan, like Neto and Raheem Sterling, are expected to go back to their original clubs—Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Another player who might leave is Oleksandr Zinchenko. He hasn’t played much for Arsenal recently, and a move could be on the cards.

Arteta explained that the team needs new signings because the current squad is small. He also pointed out that some contracts are ending, and loan players are returning to their parent clubs.

“We have to be sharp and make smart decisions to stay strong for next season,” Arteta said.

When asked about the summer ahead, Arteta smiled and said he wants to take a break after the season. But he also said it’s important for the club’s top bosses to do their job and make the right moves.
