A shocking hotel video of music star Sean “Diddy” Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was shown in court. The incident happened back in 2016 at a Los Angeles hotel, and this was the first time the full footage was made public.
The video shows Diddy dragging Cassie down a hallway, attacking her near an elevator, and walking around wearing only a towel. The footage shocked everyone in the courtroom.
Cassie, who is now 38, testified about what she went through in their relationship. She said Diddy forced her to attend his so-called “Freak Off” parties, which were multi-day sex parties with male escorts. She joined out of fear that he would blackmail her with videos he recorded.
When the silent video played in court, the room went quiet. It showed Cassie being pulled by her hoodie, slammed to the ground, and kicked while she didn’t move. Later, hotel security guard Israel Florez arrived at the scene.
Florez said he responded to a call about a woman in danger. After seeing the security footage, he recorded it on his phone because he was afraid no one would believe what he saw.
According to Florez, Diddy, still in a towel and socks, tried to bribe him to keep quiet. He allegedly said, “You take care of this, I got you.” But Florez said he refused the money and just wanted everyone to be treated with respect.
He also recalled Diddy yelling at Cassie in the hallway. Florez warned him he would be removed from the hotel if the behavior continued. The guard’s written report and photos were used as evidence in the trial.
Cassie shared painful details about their 10-year relationship. She said Diddy controlled every part of her life. He used violence to scare her and even left guns around the house to keep her afraid. “He would stomp me in the head if I was down,” she said.
It was also revealed that Diddy paid the hotel $50,000 to get the original video. Just two days after the violent attack, he and Cassie appeared together at a movie premiere, pretending everything was normal.
Now pregnant with her third child, Cassie still came to testify. Diddy’s lawyers tried to stop her, saying her pregnancy might make the jury feel sorry for her, but the judge allowed her to speak.
Cassie said her first “Freak Off” happened because she felt like she had no choice. She was young and didn’t have any sexual experience. Diddy warned her not to make him angry and would force her into disturbing situations while he watched.
She explained that he kept recordings to control her. “If I didn’t do what he wanted, he would use the videos against me,” she told the court.
The parties could last up to four days with drugs, alcohol, and sex with strangers. Cassie said after each one, she felt humiliated and emotionally drained. “I felt like that’s all I was good for,” she said.
Diddy acted like their relationship was loyal, but he still controlled her and acted jealous. He would often say things like, “I’m Puff Daddy, and Puff Daddy has many women.” Over time, Cassie realized she was living in an abusive situation.
Prosecutors now accuse Diddy of running a criminal group that forced and trafficked women. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison. Diddy says he did nothing wrong and claims all activities were part of a consensual, adult lifestyle.
