A Nigerian lawyer has given some strong advice to men about relationships. He said that if a man likes a woman but cannot afford to support her, then he should leave her alone.
The lawyer, Ilavbare Goldfish Ramatulai, is 54 years old and believes that financial responsibility is very important in a relationship. According to him, men should not enter romantic relationships if they are not ready to take care of a woman’s needs.
His message is clear — love alone is not enough. A man should make sure he is financially stable before starting a serious relationship. This, he says, shows respect for the woman and helps avoid future problems.
Many people online have reacted to his advice. Some agree with him, saying that it’s unfair to start a relationship without being ready. Others feel that love should not be based on money alone. But the lawyer stands by his point, reminding men to focus on building themselves first before dating.
This advice has started conversations about money, love, and responsibility in modern relationships.
“If you do not have the financial capacity to be with a woman you like, leave her alone. She is your type but you are not her type,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
“How hard is this to understand? Relationship matters are quite simple just that humans make it so complicated. When you are a woman’s type [rich or poor] you will notice that much in the way she treats you. Even Huda gets it! Rest.”
