Popular Nigerian activist Omoyele Sowore has raised serious concerns about the rising insecurity in the country. He strongly criticized the government led by President Bola Tinubu for not doing enough to fix the problem.
Sowore reacted after a video of a terrorist attack started trending online. He said the situation is getting worse and that if the government does not step in fast, more areas of Nigeria could be taken over by terrorists.
Writing on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Sowore described Tinubu’s administration as both corrupt and incapable of handling the country’s problems.
He also said that Nigeria currently lacks strong and clear leadership to solve the growing security crisis.
According to Sowore, the country’s security has become much worse under Tinubu’s rule. He warned that things could soon get as bad as Syria, where terrorists took over large parts of the country.
He ended his post by saying Nigeria has no direction right now and used the hashtag #RevolutionNow to call for action and change.
