Natasha arrives court as judge hears Akpabio’s contempt claims

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan attended the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday for a court hearing regarding a contempt case brought by Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The case revolves around accusations that Natasha disregarded a court order.

Justice Binta Nyako, who is overseeing the case, scheduled the hearing for Tuesday. Additionally, she mentioned that she would hear Natasha’s own contempt charge against Akpabio, the Senate, and others, accusing them of failing to comply with a previous court ruling.

At the hearing on Monday, Natasha’s legal representative, Jibrin Okutekpa, confirmed that the case was ready to proceed as planned. He explained that all required documents had been submitted, and the parties involved were prepared for the hearing to continue.

This hearing marks an important step in resolving the legal issues between the two lawmakers, with both parties presenting their respective cases in court.
