Popular social media personality, VeryDarkMan, may have been granted bail, but he still doesn’t have his phone or car back, according to his lawyer.

VeryDarkMan, who is known for speaking out on social issues online, was recently released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday.

After his release, he shared that the EFCC had arrested him because they suspected him of being involved in money laundering.

Giving more details, his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, explained that even though he was freed, the EFCC has not returned his belongings. He said, “There were no bail conditions. I personally applied for his bail and promised to present him whenever he’s needed. But his phone and car are still with the EFCC.”

Just to remind everyone, VeryDarkMan was arrested last Friday after he went to GTBank with his mother to report that some money had been taken from her account without explanation.
