EFCC arrests Kaduna-based content creator for Naira abuse

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained a content creator from Kaduna, Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad, for allegedly misusing Naira notes.

EFCC made this announcement on Monday in an official statement.

The Commission stated that Sa’ad posted a video on his TikTok and Instagram account, @youngcee0066, in which he was seen throwing Naira notes on the ground, stepping on them, and challenging EFCC officers in Hausa to arrest him if they could.

According to the statement, Sa’ad was tracked down in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna and was arrested. He was then taken to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate for questioning.

The EFCC also confirmed that Sa’ad will be charged in court once the interrogation is completed.
