A Nigerian nurse living in the United Kingdom has sadly been found dead in her apartment in Leeds. The woman, known as Nurse Miriam, had just returned from Nigeria, where she went for her wedding introduction.
According to another Nigerian nurse, Ibironke Khadeejah Quadri, who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), Miriam worked her last shift on Sunday but was not seen or heard from afterward. A friend tried to contact her without success. When she couldn’t be reached, a missing person report was filed.
The police later broke into her apartment and, sadly, found her dead. This news has shocked many, especially since she had just returned from such a joyful event in Nigeria.
