Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has said that Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is currently a better player than Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
Cascarino, who spoke on talkSPORT, praised Saka for his hard work, hunger, and improvement. He said Saka shows the qualities that many people expect from top players like Kylian Mbappe.
He explained that Vinicius Jr hasn’t been the same since Mbappe joined Real Madrid and thinks this has also affected Rodrygo, another young talent at the club. Cascarino mentioned that Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly played a key role in stopping Rodrygo.
Cascarino pointed out that Saka works hard on the pitch and causes real problems for defenders. He said Saka played a big part in helping Arsenal progress in the Champions League.
He also noted that Saka came back strong after a long injury and is still improving. When asked who he would choose between Saka and Vinicius Jr, Cascarino picked Saka without hesitation.
