Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has rewarded Remo Stars with N10 million after they won the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title.

Osimhen gave N5 million to the players and another N5 million to the team’s technical staff. The Galatasaray forward also sent his congratulations to the team and praised their hard work and determination.

Remo Stars made history on Sunday by winning their first NPFL title. They defeated Niger Tornadoes 1-0 at home in Ikenne.

Olamilekan Adedayo scored the only goal of the match in the 84th minute, helping the team secure the big win.

With this victory, Remo Stars became the first privately owned club to win the NPFL since Julius Berger did it in 2000.
