Jesutega Onokpasa, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has strongly criticized President Bola Tinubu, saying his administration has failed. In a recent interview with Arise Television, Onokpasa warned that if Tinubu does not improve his performance, he may only serve one term as president.

Onokpasa also spoke about Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, who recently joined the APC. Onokpasa, who called Oborevwori his cousin, said that the governor’s move does not bring any real benefit to the party or the state. He emphasized that the APC should focus on providing good governance, rather than celebrating defections from the opposition.

Onokpasa stated that it’s not about opposition politicians joining the ruling party but about how well the country is being governed. He expressed disappointment in the current leadership, saying that Tinubu’s government has not done enough to provide for Nigerians during tough times.

Regarding Oborevwori’s defection, Onokpasa said he was surprised as he was not informed by his cousin about the decision. Nevertheless, he wished him well.
