Kenneth Okonkwo recently shared his thoughts about the 2027 election. According to him, no single person can defeat President Bola Tinubu alone — not even Peter Obi. It will take the full effort of the Nigerian people.

Right now, many Nigerians are unhappy with Tinubu’s leadership. A lot of people are asking: Can Tinubu fix the rising inflation? The answer seems to be no. Prices of goods and services continue to soar, making life harder for ordinary Nigerians. Instead of solving these problems, many believe Tinubu has made things even worse.

When it comes to insecurity, many feel Tinubu has not made any real progress either. People say he spends more time traveling abroad — flying from France to the UK — than staying in Nigeria to fix serious security problems at home.

The poverty level in Nigeria has also increased. Many Nigerians feel poorer today than they did before. Tinubu’s government has not shown any clear plan to lift people out of poverty. Instead, more families are struggling every day just to survive.

But there is still hope for change. Tinubu can be defeated in 2027 if the millions of Nigerians who usually stay away from voting decide to come out and make their voices heard. Peter Obi does not need to find a very powerful running mate to challenge Tinubu. What really matters is getting as many people as possible to vote.

If Nigerians come together, they can decide their future. Change is possible — but only if everyone plays their part.
