A female student from Abia State University, Uturu, has been hospitalized after a shocking incident on campus. Chinedu Faithful Nwagbuo, a 200-level student, was attacked by a 100-level female student who poured hot water on her during a fight.

Details about what caused the argument are still unclear. However, it is reported that the hot water caused serious burns to the upper part of Chinedu’s body.

Chinedu is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Umuahia. Meanwhile, the student who attacked her has been arrested by the police as they continue their investigation.

Friends, students, and family members have been visiting Chinedu at the hospital to show their support.
The management of Abia State University has not yet released an official statement about the incident.
