Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has reacted to the rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

Recent reports suggested that the La Liga champions are interested in signing the Argentina World Cup winner during the summer transfer window.

When asked about the rumours, Mac Allister said he is happy at Liverpool and not thinking about leaving.

“I see the rumours and hear the news, but what matters most is the present,” Mac Allister told TyC Sports. “I’m happy at Liverpool, I respect the club a lot, and I don’t think it’s right to talk about other teams.”

Mac Allister joined Liverpool from Brighton in 2023.
Since then, the 26-year-old has become an important player for the Reds over the last two seasons.

It remains to be seen if Mac Allister will stay with new manager Arne Slot’s team or make a move at the end of the season.
